The Indian Hills Police Department maintains an email distribution list which is utilized to provide timely notification to residents regarding known or suspected criminal activity. Being informed by and communicating with the police department is one of our most effective crime deterrent strategies.
When subscribing to the IHPD Crime Alert you will be asked for your email address, first name, and last name. The only requirement is your email address. Your name is optional but providing it may assist the IHPD should circumstances ever warrant their contacting you alone directly. All information will be held in confidence, and used only for the distribution of Crime Alert emails and official IHPD correspondence.
Following submission of your subscription request, you will receive an email requiring you to click a link to confirm your subscription. This confirmation prevents individuals from subscribing email addresses they do not control. Once your subscription is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email.

On the resulting page, enter the requested information, check the Crime Alert box, and click the Subscribe to our Crime Alert button.
It is acceptable to have multiple subscriptions to the list, e.g., both your home and work email addresses. Note that they will not be linked and all notifications will go to all subscribed email addresses.
